Upcycled Bar

Continuing an earlier interest in upcycling (and in need of a place to eat dinner), I decided to build a small bar from broken wood pallets. Using whatever pallets I could scrounge from the brick company below our office, I ripped a collection of strips of maple, pine, walnut, and cherry to laminate together. With a lot of sanding, a bottle of glue, and some good clamps I assembled the strips randomly to form three pieces slabs.  Thinking ahead towards a move, the bar top was designed to be disassembled back into three pieces while the base cabinets break into two more.
