Power Substation

What began as a fairly mundane project for a utilitarian power substation that was to "blend into a residential neighborhood", quickly became interesting when we were able to persuade the client to take a more forward approach. While I presented the client with what they asked for, I also went off-course with an angular, contemporary design. A jagged bolt of electric traces the outline of the right security wall, across the glass block wall, and around down to the ground.
