We were asked to push the bounds on what a retail space in the Detroit and Philadelphia Airports could be. The designs capitalized on the manufacturing might of Detroit by using a series of ceiling fins that are produced from similar CNC techniques that are used in the the production of automotive components.

In Philadelphia, the high, open space above the store lent itself to a draping canopy structure that served to highlight the store at the end of a dark concourse.
