Build a better Burb

Downtowns have become  empty shells of their former selves. Along the commute home, inhabitants stop at the roadside strip mall, shop, then travel to the privacy of their home. Rather than changing both infrastructure and perception we need to embed higher levels of efficiency within our current systems. The Big Box structure of shopping has become an ineffective way of consuming. The efficiency of the drive thru layout merges both warehouse and shopping making the middleman (big box) an unnecessary by product. What is left is a shell of opportunity, large areas of open space that can be repurposed for the community.
