Intersecting Voids

This project studied the potential and constraints of using digital fabrication to create formwork for the casting of a concrete screen wall. Stemming from research of Erwin Hauer, the design built intelligence about fabrication and construction limits into a single part that could be arranged in multiple configurations to create a variety of  screens. The final design was an evolution of the part that refined the aesthetic quality and machinability of prior designs.
