Pod Lounge

What started as a precedent study of Samuel Mockbee turned into a design/build project. After studying the Rural Studio's use of materials, I came up with a design to reclaim unused space in Lawrence Tech's studio. The space became a student lounge constructed almost entirely of recycled materials (primarily wood pallets). I revisited the idea of upcycling pallets a few years later in this project.
